All communications submitted through these channels are treated as confidential and are directed to the appropriate internal team for timely response.
Governing Law: All legal matters are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States of America, without regard to conflict of laws principles, unless a separate written agreement specifies otherwise.

2. Submitting a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR)
Individuals whose data is processed by PDL have the right to access, correct, delete, or port their personal data under applicable law, including the CPRA (California Privacy Rights Act), GDPR, and the NY SHIELD Act. To submit a DSAR:
- Email privacy@psydata.org with the subject line: "Data Subject Request – [Type of Request]"
- Include your full name, the email address associated with your account (if applicable), and a description of your request.
- PDL will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and complete the response within the statutory timeline: 45 days under CPRA (extendable by 45 days with notice) and 30 days under GDPR (extendable by 60 days for complex requests).
- Verification of identity will be required before any data is disclosed, modified, or deleted.
3. Submitting a DMCA Copyright Takedown Notice
If you believe that content available on PDL platforms infringes your copyright under 17 U.S.C. § 512, please send a written notice to our designated DMCA agent:
- Email: legal@psydata.org (Subject: "DMCA Takedown Notice")
- Your notice must include: (1) a description of the copyrighted work; (2) identification of the infringing material and its location; (3) your contact information; (4) a statement of good faith belief; and (5) a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury, signed by you or your authorized agent.
- PDL will process valid notices within 10 business days.
4. Law Enforcement & Government Requests
PDL is committed to protecting user privacy and will only disclose user data in response to government or law enforcement requests that are legally valid and properly served. PDL does not voluntarily disclose user data beyond what is legally required.
- All law enforcement requests must be formally served to: legal@psydata.org
- Emergency requests involving imminent threat to life should also be directed to: security@psydata.org
- PDL will notify affected users of government data requests unless prohibited from doing so by law.
- PDL reserves the right to challenge overbroad or legally deficient requests.

6. Response Timelines
- General Legal Inquiries: Acknowledgment within 5 business days; substantive response within 30 business days.
- Data Subject Requests: As required by applicable law (see Section 2 above).
- Security Incidents / Vulnerability Reports: Acknowledgment within 48 hours (see PDL Vulnerability Disclosure Policy).
- DMCA Notices: Processing within 10 business days.
- Law Enforcement Requests: As required by applicable law and court orders.
